The following rules are herein established as policy regarding tuition fees and withdrawal procedures: 1. Tuition for each course is $160, payable in advance, plus textbook fee (dependent upon course, usually no more than $20). If the course is canceled, a student is entitled to a full refund or that fee may be credited, at the student’s discretion, to the next course offered for that student. 2. Students who enroll on the day the class begins may be charged a $15 late fee. 3. A student may not enroll after the first class session begins. 4. In order to obtain the maximum benefits and fulfill the 30 classroom hour requirement for each course as prescribed by the Texas Real Estate License Act, attendance of each session is mandatory. Attendance will be checked each session and will be a factor in determining a passing grade. A student must not miss more than four hours of class time without prior approval of school manager. A written request must be submitted for additional missed hours. Tuition may be forfeited without this prior approval .Missed sessions (no more than 10 hours total) must be made up by attending the same course session(s) within 90 days or completing make-up with audio or video in-class study. 5. A Certificate of Completion will be sent to each student who satisfactorily completes the course. Students not making a passing grade on the final exam may retake the final exam again at no cost, after a 7 day study/waiting period. The school manager will assign additional study to the student before the final exam may be taken. Any make-up exam or retake exam must be completed within 90 days of last class day. 6. Any student dismissed from class by the instructor for disciplinary reasons will receive no refund of fees after the second day of class. 7. Tuition will be refunded in full until the day class begins. ( Allow fifteen days for check clearance.) A student who disenrolls after the first session will be charged a $45 fee. 8. A student who is dissatisfied with the quality of instruction may withdraw and receive a full refund of tuition. However the student must discuss the matter with the school manager, before withdrawing, and explain why instruction was not satisfactory. The student must also furnish the Texas Real Estate Commission full details concerning the withdrawal. Students are cautioned to read course content and levels of instruction. 9. The student will be responsible for notifying the Texas Real Estate Commission of successful course completion by sending a copy of the certificate or the letter of completion furnished by the school to the Commission. 10. We reserve the right to limit class size. Registration will be accepted by the order in which payment is received. |
