Real Estate—Related Courses
To
satisfy the education requirements for a Real Estate Salesperson License, a
total of 180 classroom hours of Real Estate or Real Estate—Related Courses is
necessary. Up to sixty (60) classroom hours may be satisfied by previous
college work in the following real estate related areas.
NOTE: One 3-semester hour
college class is equal to 45 classroom hours. Submit any college transcripts to
TREC for evaluation with the
Request for Evaluation of Education Documents Form. You may begin your Real
Estate courses with us prior to evaluation of college work as long as you start
with the required classes, Principles of Real Estate I and II, Law of Agency,
and Law of Contracts. Do not send documents to Real Estate Education, Inc.
for review. This is intended as a guideline only; The Texas Real Estate
Commission makes all decisions regarding credit for prior work.
